In the Heart of the Lake District, Estancia Quemquemtreu is renowned among anglers as a paradise for fly fishing.
It is flanked by the Collon Cura and Caleufu rivers, two of the best mountain waterways for Fly Fishing and crossed by the Quemquemtreu stream, excellent for dry flies early in the season.

The Quemquemtreu waters flow into Collon Cura, one of the most famous patagonian rivers, which arises from the confluence of the Aluminé and Chimehuin rivers. The water is cold and crystal clear as it flows down these mountain rivers, which shelter Guanacos, Wild Boar, Red deer and birds, and plentiful Large trout.
Fishing season goes from November until the end of April.

The estancia has two comfortable lodges, both with five double rooms and full services. One of the lodges has been specially prepared for Fly fishers.
